I hugely enjoyed reading Suresh’s story of his life in the UK. His evident success and his commitment to helping others less fortunate is heart warming and shows the character of the man. Now more than ever we should be proud of those like Suresh who have made the journey, prospered by dint of hard work, and never giving up and given back to the wider community.
This is fantastic, I will support and order one! As a request, may I I have a signed copy please.
Congratulations Suresh!
A truly inspirational journey shared by my dear friend I have known since 1990. A human being who took me under his wings and leading me to achieve a highly successful political career. I read through a book that brings back memories of my early days in Politics, where he believed in me and today I write this review as the Chairman and First Citizen of a local authority in Chigwell, Essex. Suresh Kumar – “Always follow your dreams” I did exactly that!
Thank you very much for inviting us to a most Lively and entertaining Grand Book launch ceremony.
We really enjoyed ourselves. Congratulations for Stepping into the Writers Club ??
I am abroad but as usual you have a brilliant set of guest speakers. Who else can bring together the excellent Jeffrey Archer and the distinguished High Commissioner of India.
I love your book Follow That Dream. That is exactly what you have done. You are irresistible as is your infectious optimism. Nothing is too big or small for you to deal with. I feel sometimes there is no one in the world who best reflects Indo British relations better than you. Your book is a mirror of the Brit Asians in the UK. It’s not just your journey it’s our journey.
I hope you have a marvellous evening. I look forward to your next launch in Leicester. Best wishes.
I read your book on my way to Delhi cover to cover. It was truly amazing. Hats off to you for penning your life history from start to present day. A Lot of bold truths but true to your heart, as always.
Namaste Sureshji
Just finished reading your marvellous book in just over one sitting…couldn’t put it down as it had so much that resonated with me… being an Aquarian, life in South Park, Water Lane school, Cauliflower pub, buying travel tickets from Empire, kids born at Barking Hospital just to mention a few.
Also, my first major film was Aradhana, with Superstar Rajesh Khanna and I was also present at the Amit Kumar’s show where you struck your deal with him, to perform shows in UK.
You have certainly led a very busy life and touched the lives of so many people. Very proud of you.
The book is well written, and I look forward to your next one.
Best wishes
Hi Suresh.
Enjoyed your very well written book. I am reliving and relating to your journey in life. It is quite emotional at times. A real good read and you should write more books. Got to know both you and the family better. Had no idea how many how high-profile people you had met and how you created opportunities for yourself to achieve your goals and help others. A lot to learn there!
Enjoyed your love story too.
Great also to see how you have cherished and remembered all your family and friends.
To my surprise found our names mentioned in there too.
I will be looking forward to seeing Part II of your book.
Wishing you the very best always in all your endeavours.
FOLLOW THAT DREAM is all about a journey of a dreamer who dares to dream and achieves success by his vision and dedication. It takes you back to memory lane where you feel like being part of the author’s journey. Well researched and accurate! Must read this book!
Author Suresh Kumar with Follow that Dream has told a true story that many Indian famillies have faced in the new beginnings in London. The difference is that many have travelled a similar journey, but have not bothered to put pen to paper and tell their story. All the ear marks of a Best Seller. Congrats to the Author for telling his story, in his way.
Follow that Dream has been a fantastic journey of a family from Lahore in Pakistan, coming through partition, moving to Punjab India and looking for a better life in Great Britain. The trials and tubulations and on top of all that facing racism head on in the early 1960s and 1970s. Well worth the money and read.
I enjoyed the simple style of writing and the true story is amazing. Follow that Dream is a must read.
Follow that Dream by Suresh Kumar will be a definate best seller.
