Follow That Dream
I started this Book project in 2010 and wrote all my manuscript by hand. Gradually over the years I added to my story. It was important to get the events in the correct order and specific dates correct. I reached out to many members of the family. One can understand that Memories in time, do tend to fade.
My parents were good at documenting certain events and keeping letters and an account of certain important developments, during their lifetime. Those documents have been very useful for me to chart the journey from Lahore Pakistan to Punjab India and onwards to the United Kingdom.
My main reason to write Follow that Dream was to ensure that a record is persevered of our family history and for younger generations to appreciate and understand the struggle, that our parents had to encounter along their journey.
This is a true story, filled with emotion and determination to succeed.
